A snowy sunrise in Bryce Canyon

When I was preparing my trip to Bryce Canyon last year, I found images showing the park covered in snow. The white color of the snow gave an impressive contrast to the red hoodoos which are already impressive by itself.

While the trip was going be in late April, the chances of snow were reduced to minimum. The moment I arrived at Bryce Canyon, I was struck by an unexpected transformation. Although the clouds the day before supported by the forecast indicated that there might be a change in the layout over night, I never imagined how surreal the landscape would appear under a layer of snow.
